I picked up this motor for !!! The owner said it had low compression and he just wanted to get rid of it. I offered to fix it for him but he refused and said he bought another 15 and just wanted it gone. OK, whatever you say! He test ran it on the boat for 5 second, it started first pull. I got it home, did a compression test, 95PSI on both cylinders. Smoking deal if you ask me! I discuss the differences between the previous motors, 74-76 and the later motors, my 83 9.9 with an 88 powerhead.
